Stefano Marino obtained his PhD in 2007 in “Structural Biology and Molecular Physiology” at University of Padua. Then, he joined the Gladyshev lab at University of Nebraska (USA) as postdoc in bioinformatics and later on was Assistant Professor of Bioinformatics at Akdeniz University (Turkey).
His main expertise is computational analyses of reactive Cys residues, protein networks analysis in oxidative stress, and analyses of reactivity-related parameters in enzymes. Within the framework of the DRIVE project he is in charge of designing and optimizing the technologies for local immunosuppression.
