Dr Davide de Lucrezia

Davide obtained his PhD at University of Roma Tre (Italy) in biological science and subsequently moved to the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (Switzerland) at the Department of Material science.

Then, he joined a private firm in Switzerland where he worked on the development of a novel phage-display scaffold for peptide discovery. He worked as operative coordinator of the European Centre for Living Technology where he co-developed a platform for modular protein design and engineering. He later joined a private equity firm specialised in technology transfer where he leveraged his competence in project and intellectual property management.

He was involved in a number of EU projects and he is currently coordinating the THEGRAIL project and deputy coordinator of the NEXT project. He is a co-founder of Explora and he currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer.
