Aline Zbinden

Aline Zbinden is a PhD student in the Schenke-Layland Lab. She holds a Masters in bioengineering, life sciences and technology, which she received from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 2015. Her role in the DRIVE project is to develop a human-based three-dimensional in vitro test system for use in testing biomaterials for islet encapsulation.
