Alberto Cañibano

PhD Student, Working at BBN - Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red

Alberto finished his Biology degree in 2013 at the University of Salamanca. He completed with a Master’s degree in Molecular, Cellular and Genetics in 2014. He has been working in oncology biochemical screening at Lilly and Company for a year. Alberto will pursue a multidisciplinary PhD through the DRIVE Programme, focusing on the development of unlimited future sources of insulin-producing cells and their characterization in biomaterial gels.
