Ada Serena Marletta PhD

Ada Serena Marletta is a Biotechnologist with a PhD in Pharmaceutical and Food Biotechnologies and a Masters’ Degree in Industrial Biotechnology. She has several years of experience in cloning, expression and purification of recombinant proteins and cell culture techniques for both bacterial and human cells.

In particular, she developed an expertise in the major chromatographic techniques adopted to purify recombinant proteins in both FPLC and HPLC systems, and in the spectrophotometric methods for the analysis of enzymatic activities. Within the framework of the DRIVE project she is in charge of expression and characterization of the peptides and protein for local immunosuppression and enhanced engraftment.
